Special Bonus
Before you read anything else, please read the entry directly below this one for everything in the following entry to make sense.
...Done? Good!
As a special bonus (as I am sitting here bored in a hotel room in Yakima, Washington) I've decided to do a little update on the tour we've just concluded rather abruptly. Or...perhaps just some highlights?
- We played a NEARLY sold out show in our hometown of Austin, Texas, at Emos (the room was at capacity if count people on the guestlist)
- We played another very nearly sold out show at the Echo, in Los Angeles. A show at which none other than Orlando "Legolas" Bloom came out to (he was more likely there to see Adrian Greniar's band, The Honey Brothers open for us, but he stuck around and watched us long enough to dedicate a couple of songs to him)
-We made our television debut on Fuel.TV
-The majority of us took a day to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain, where we had one of the most PERFECT days ever. My God...the rollercoasters. (X and Tatsu were the favorites of the day.)
-We played a big happy family show for one of our manger's 26th Birthday, John.
-We then made our way up to the Northwest and stopped by the Redwood National Forest, and saw some of the most beautiful landscape in the country. We got out at the Simpson-Reed Grove, and walked a mile through what felt like a movie set. It was amazing. (We'll post some pictures later)
-We then visited the city of Portland, which I believe is now my personal favorite city in America. Even though nobody came to our show there, I still loved it.
-And then we played a really awesome show in Seattle, to a small crowd of very enthusiastic and energetic people.
And those are all the highlights I can think of right now. Hopefully we'll post some more pictures...but here's one for now that will hopefully give you SOME sort of a small idea of how much fun we had at Six Flags...especially since this is the first time I've ever bought a souvinear picture from one of those places. This is a picture Joel, our friend Abigail, Will, and Me on Magic Mountain's brand new ride, called Tatsu:

Tour Update! Please Read!
Hello All,
Long story:
We left Seattle today to set off on our 32 hour drive to play in Denver tomorrow evening. Along the way, as we were making our way into Yakima, Washington, our suburban starting making clicking noises, and as we pulled off the highway to investigate, the car stopped working altogether.
Many hours later, multiple things are wrong with our vehicle, and it's going to cost upwards of $3000 to fix, and there aren't any vehicles capable of towing a trailer anywhere in the area.
(also, in a completely random sidenote: our Bass Amp blew up at our last show in LA, and we had fixed in Portland...it blew up in portland (couldn't use it at all), we had it fixed again in Portland, and it blew up the next day in Seattle (...couldn't use it there either)...so if you want to give us a bass amp, that'd be awesome...)
So as a result of this, we've had to CANCEL (AHH) our last 5 shows on our little solo tour leading up to SXSW. We're trying to figure out how to get back home right now, but we'll definitely be playing all the rest of the shows listed on our myspace. We're still possibly adding a couple more SXSW shows, but here's what's on the schedule so far:

So if you were planning on coming to one of those cancelled shows...we're pretty much playing them all over again by the end of the month.
And yes, I know a lot of you want us to come to your city that isn't on this list (NC, FL, etc.), but the best thing you can do is email your local club and tell them you want to see Oh No! Oh My! The more they hear it, the more likely they are to ask us to play there. Hope that makes sense.
On a completely different note, if you'd like to contribute to the Help-Oh-No-Oh-My-Pay-For-A-New-Vehicle Fund...ummm, come to a show and buy a T-Shirt, or a CD!....Or a BUTTON! (Or if you, or anyone you know has a Full Size Passenger Van they want to sell us, give me an email)
Again, sorry to anybody that was planning on coming to one of the cancelled shows, it was definitely due to circumstances beyond our control.
And that's all she wrote,
Daniel
